We at Kildare Golf Society had our Presidents outing on Friday 19th July at Millicent Golf course. From our arrival to departure the atmosphere was welcoming and cordial. The course – a real test of golf – was in perfect condition. The quality of the course was equalled or surpassed by the meal that was served later. Thanks to the boys in the pro shop and a special to thanks to Anita and her staff.
A golf course with a great future.

Beautiful food in a delightful setting
My family and I recently visited Millicent Golf Club in Clane for a Sunday Lunch. What a find!
We drove up to a large car park with plenty of space. We walked in and were given a table straight away despite not having reserved one. We were given a very warm welcome. The menu was quite extensive with lots of options and there were also two joints of the day (corn beef and roast beef) on special. My daughters are all health conscious and there was plenty of choice for them (stir fry vegetables, beautiful salads etc) – No complaints whatsoever with the choice. When the food came, we were very impressed with the presentation – which was more akin to a top class restaurant. And the food was delicious. There was not one complaint from the six of us. We noticed you could also just have beautiful looking scones or sandwiches as well as full meals. The setting was lovely, overlooking the golf course. We felt very welcomed there despite not being members of the club. The prices were also very reasonable (about 10-15 euro for mains).
We will certainly be back and we have no hesitate in recommending Millicent Golf club to anyone.
